RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Adheres to policy on proper dress code and Universal Precautions (PPE) always
- Keeps the department neat, clean and well stocked with supplies for sample processing.
- Aware and prepare hypochlorite solution (0.1% for workbench and 0.5% for sharp disposal) daily as per lab safety policy.
- Segregation and safe disposal of biomedical waste.
- Records and maintains daily monitoring checklist and submit for verification.
- During the shift changes technician should take over, all the duties & responsibilities from previous technical team/check the handed over register.
- Coordinates workflow/workload as necessary to ensure timely reporting of results. Serves as resource and mentor to less experienced lab staff.
- Carrying out instruments maintenance.
- Assist DICs in preparation of SOP and other records
- Performing quality controls for all instruments. To check any outlier in Internal Quality control & perform root cause analysis & Corrective action & to document.
- Cross check the blood grouping samples and submit to DIC for authorization.
- Verification and submission of PS slides to DIC for authorization
- Receive and process samples & Check the Pending samples in LIS & take responsibility to release the reports.
- Verification of results after interfacing (i.e.) first level authorization of patient reports.
- Document & follow the procedure for Critical alert, repeat test criteria as per policy
- To reconstitute, Aliquot & label the calibrator and Internal Quality controls material for routine use.
- Processing of EQAS samples. Initiation of corrective and preventive actions, whenever necessary and submit to the DIC for verification.
- To understand the non conformance and take corrective & preventive action & report to department In charge. Provide any valuable inputs to the management for better and quality service by the organization.
- Carrying out testing activities in compliance with quality management system and national and international guidelines.
- Modification and development of new test methods. Provision of technical inputs for the operations
- Participate in training and evaluation in the department
- Recording and maintaining of QMS documents daily.
- Process split samples for proficiency testing for parameters that don’t have external quality control programme.
- Performing Method validation & Kit validation & send the data to Quality Assurance department for verification
- Act as Auditee during internal audit of the lab
- Provide any valuable inputs to the management for better and quality service by the organization.
- Maintain work ethics and team building in the department.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
