Job Description
Marwell India is looking for a Hydraulic Service Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to support the servicing and maintenance of construction and heavy equipment.
The role involves hydraulic system troubleshooting, machine inspection, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, and technical support for heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment.
- Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical problems in construction machinery.
- Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and fittings.
- Identify hydraulic leakage, pressure, flow, and performance issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Support servicing and maintenance of excavators, loaders, and other construction equipment.
- Inspect machines and identify components requiring repair or replacement.
- Attend customer service requirements and provide technical assistance.
- Maintain service records and prepare service reports.
- Coordinate with the service team and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Follow safety procedures while working with heavy machinery and hydraulic systems.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment.
- Understanding of heavy machinery and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel for field service requirements.
