About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business expansion in the UK education sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships within the EdTech or international education industry.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with schools and education partners, and driving revenue growth for our UK-focused education services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies for the UK education market.
- Identify and acquire new clients, schools, tutoring companies, and education partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding.
- Conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and business proposals with UK-based clients.
- Collaborate with academic, operations, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and pipeline forecasts.
- Research market trends and identify new business opportunities within the UK education sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Experience in EdTech, International Education, Overseas Education, or UK Education is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
- Proven experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and account management.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and achieve business targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with UK schools, academies, colleges, or tutoring companies.
- Knowledge of UK curricula such as GCSE, A-Level, IGCSE, IB, or other international education systems.
- Experience selling online tutoring services, educational technology, or academic solutions.
- Existing network within the UK education industry will be an added advantage.
