A Production Manager in an Open End (OE) Spinning Mill oversees the entire rotor spinning process. Their core responsibilities include planning shift schedules, minimizing raw material waste, ensuring optimal rotor speeds, and maintaining yarn quality standards like strength and evenness to meet customer requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Execution: Translate sales orders into actionable daily and weekly spinning plans. Balance rotor machine capacities to meet output targets without compromising quality.
- Process & Quality Control: Monitor sliver preparation, rotor speeds, opening roller conditions, and doffing. Test for yarn imperfections (e.g., U%, thin/thick places, neps) and manage defect reduction.
