About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, site execution experience, and the ability to coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day civil construction activities from project initiation to completion.
- Supervise site execution and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review construction drawings, structural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and workmanship standards.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completed at site.
- Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team to avoid delays in project execution.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil construction, residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Must be based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai or willing to work from these locations.
- Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, foundations, and structural systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings, structural drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Good understanding of construction materials, quality standards, and site management practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and other project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and site teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and approval processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
