Job Description
Torc Edu is looking for a creative and responsible Creative Video Editor to support our content, marketing, branding, and social media requirements.
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for Torc Edu’s digital platforms, mainly Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp campaigns, and other promotional channels.
The role includes editing reels, short videos, promotional videos, student testimonials, event videos, training-related content, automobile-related videos, and brand campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit reels, YouTube shorts, promotional videos, campaign videos, and social media content.
- Create engaging videos from classroom, workshop, event, student, and automobile training footage.
- Add cuts, transitions, captions, subtitles, music, effects, sound correction, and color correction.
- Work with the creative and marketing team to create videos that match Torc Edu’s brand style.
- Manage video files, prepare videos for different platforms, and complete editing tasks on time.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Strong understanding of cuts, pacing, storytelling, transitions, color correction, and audio balancing.
- Ability to edit reels, YouTube shorts, and other social media videos.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, text animation, subtitles, and video formats.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, deadline management, and interest in automobile/youth-focused content.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing is preferred.
- Experience in education, digital marketing, production houses, social media pages, or YouTube channels will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio/showreel may also be considered.
Qualification
Diploma, degree, or certification in Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Film Production, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, or related fields is preferred.
Candidates with strong practical editing skills and a good portfolio may be considered even without a formal degree.
