What You'll Do
As an Outreach Coordinator, you'll be the face of Lighthouse in the community, helping deserving youth discover opportunities that can transform their lives.
Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Youth Mobilization
Conduct door-to-door outreach, awareness campaigns, enrolment drives, and community meetings.
Identify and mobilize eligible youth (18–35 years) for Lighthouse's skilling and employability programs.
Build a strong pipeline of learners to achieve enrolment targets.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with colleges, community leaders, NGOs, government stakeholders, and local organizations.
Develop referral partnerships to increase community participation.
Represent Lighthouse Communities Foundation at local events and awareness programs.
Learner Engagement
Organize orientation sessions, career awareness workshops, and community events.
Support learner attendance, retention, and overall engagement throughout the training journey.
Motivate and mentor youth to successfully complete the program.
Data Management & Coordination
Maintain accurate outreach, enrolment, and community engagement records using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MIS.
Coordinate with trainers, centre teams, and program staff for seamless program execution.
Career Support
Guide learners throughout their skilling journey.
Support placement initiatives and career readiness activities to improve employment outcomes.
Who We're Looking For
- Graduate in any discipline (MSW or Social Sciences preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in community mobilization, outreach, NGO programs, education, skilling, or youth engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Marathi is mandatory. Knowledge of Hindi and English will be an added advantage.
- Comfortable with extensive local travel and fieldwork across Thane and Kalwa.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Passion for creating opportunities for underserved youth and contributing to social impact.
