Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with 7–9 years of experience in ERP/SaaS sales for the Education Sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong network within educational institutions and a proven track record of selling ERP software solutions to schools, colleges, universities, and higher education institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales of ERP solutions for educational institutions.
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with decision-makers including:
- Vice Chancellors
- Registrars
- Principals
- Directors
- Trustees
- Management Committees
- IT Heads
- Purchase & Procurement Teams
- Conduct product presentations, software demonstrations, and solution consulting.
- Manage complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Prepare proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product, and Implementation teams.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline using CRM.
- Participate in education conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Build strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

- Strong understanding of admission, examination, finance, HR, payroll, student lifecycle, and academic ERP modules.
- Experience in consultative B2B sales.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
