Job Summary:
To manage and strengthen relationships with regulatory and government bodies, ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements, WHO-GMP standards for plants and warehouses in the assigned region, and lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by planning, implementing, and monitoring programs that align with organizational goals and create a positive social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Relations (CR):
- Manage corporate relations with FDA.
- Liaise with CDSCO Eastern Zone Office and FSSAI Zonal Office.
- Handle requirements for Sikkim Plant including FORM 29 NOCs, Export NOCs, WHO inspections, and other regulatory approvals.
- Ensure timely issuance of COPPs for export products.
- Warehouse & Distribution Support:
- Support licensing and inspections for warehouse operations as required.
- Regulatory Issue Management:
- Attend FDA notices from various government offices and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate and secure timely approvals by following up daily on licensing requirements.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- CSR Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and execute CSR initiatives in alignment with company policies and community needs.
- Identify and manage projects focused on education, health, environment, and social development in the region.
- Ensure adherence to statutory CSR requirements under Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare and submit CSR reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with NGOs, local authorities, and community leaders to implement CSR programs effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of CSR activities and recommend improvements.
Key Challenges:
- Managing unpredictability in government officers’ availability and timelines.
- Handling senior-level government interactions and ensuring timely approvals.
- Driving impactful CSR initiatives within regulatory and budgetary constraints.
