Our team specializes in complex digital asset tax matters and works with clients across multiple jurisdictions.
We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to become the first point of contact for our clients.
Role Overview
As a Tax Customer Support Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless client experience throughout the engagement lifecycle. You will coordinate with clients, collect required information and documents, manage onboarding, track engagement progress, answer non-technical queries and coordinate internally with our tax professionals.
This role does NOT involve providing tax advice. Instead, you will act as the bridge between our clients and the tax team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding
- Welcome new clients after engagement.
- Collect KYC documents and engagement forms.
- Guide clients through the onboarding process.
- Ensure all required documents are received before work begins.
Customer Support
- Respond to client emails, WhatsApp messages and support tickets.
- Resolve routine operational queries.
- Escalate technical tax queries to the tax team.
- Maintain professional communication at all times.
Data Collection & Coordination
- Request exchange statements, wallet addresses, transaction exports and other required records.
- Follow up with clients for pending information.
- Coordinate with clients until all required information has been received.
Engagement Tracking
- Monitor the status of ongoing assignments.
- Update internal trackers and CRM.
- Keep clients informed about progress and expected timelines.
- Coordinate between clients and tax professionals.
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings.
- Prepare engagement folders.
- Maintain organized digital records.
- Assist with invoices, payment follow-ups and engagement documentation.
Quality & Process
- Ensure client information is complete before assignment allocation.
- Follow internal SOPs.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Identify opportunities to improve client experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organized and process-oriented.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and online collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Professional and empathetic approach to customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in customer support, client servicing or operations.
- Experience in CA firms, tax firms or financial services will be preferred.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency is a plus but not mandatory.
