Position Overview
Sauber Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Project Manager / Construction Manager to lead end-to-end execution of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and water infrastructure projects.
The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise in civil & MEP works, project planning capability, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams in EPC mode.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and handover
- Develop project execution strategy in line with contract requirements
- Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules (MSP/Primavera preferred)
- Ensure project completion within timeline, budget, and quality standards
2. Site & Construction Management
- Supervise civil works including excavation, RCC structures, water-retaining structures, finishing works
- Oversee mechanical, piping, and electrical coordination for STP/ETP plants
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications
- Manage subcontractors and site engineers
3. Contract & Commercial Management
- Study contract documents thoroughly and ensure compliance
- Monitor BOQ quantities and cost control
- Approve RA bills and verify subcontractor bills
- Manage variation orders, extra items, and claims documentation
- Coordinate with client for certification and payments
4. Quality Assurance & Safety
- Implement QA/QC systems as per IS codes and project standards
- Ensure concrete quality control (cube tests, slump tests, material approvals)
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety norms
5. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Act as single point of contact for client/PMC
- Attend review meetings and present progress reports
- Handle client queries and technical clarifications
- Maintain strong professional relationship with stakeholders
6. Resource & Team Management
- Lead multidisciplinary team: Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Supervisors
- Monitor manpower productivity and allocation
- Conduct performance reviews of site team
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report), WPR, MPR
- Track milestones and critical activities
- Ensure proper site order book entries
- Maintain project records for audit readiness
Required Technical Competencies
- Strong expertise in RCC water-retaining structures
- Experience in STP/ETP/WTP projects (SBR technology preferred)
- Knowledge of IS codes and structural practices
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera
- Understanding of billing, BOQ analysis, and EPC contracts
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills

Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 8 to 15+ years of experience in infrastructure/EPC projects
- Minimum 3–5 years in leadership role
- Experience handling projects valued above ₹20 Crores preferred
