Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inward & Outward Executive to manage inventory movements, dispatch operations, documentation, and coordination with the sales team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock handling, timely order processing, and smooth communication between stores, logistics, and sales departments.
Key Responsibilities
Inward Operations
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Ensure accurate stock entries in ERP/software and inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and purchase teams regarding discrepancies.
Outward & Dispatch Operations
- Process sales orders and prepare dispatch documentation.
- Ensure timely material issuance and dispatch as per approved orders.
- Generate delivery challans, e-way bills, and other dispatch-related documents.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for on-time deliveries.
Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with the sales team regarding order status, stock availability, and dispatch schedules.
- Support order fulfillment and customer delivery commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched materials and pending orders.
- Assist in preparing sales and inventory reports.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in stores, inventory, dispatch, or warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Good understanding of inward, outward, and dispatch documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of sales order processing and logistics coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
