Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English language and literature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to teach students of Grades 6-10 as per the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature to students of Grades 6-10 following the CBSE syllabus.
- Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Foster a love for literature, poetry, and creative writing among students.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including technology integration and interactive activities.
- Prepare students for periodic assessments and CBSE examinations.
- Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and implement remedial measures.
- Encourage students’ participation in debates, storytelling, essay writing, and literary events.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and school events.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and best teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (BA/MA) in English + B.Ed (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Skills:
- Strong command over grammar, literature, and creative writing.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for better student understanding.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching.
- Passion for teaching and engaging students in learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines and interdisciplinary teaching methods.
- Participation in literary clubs, school magazines, and extracurricular activities.
