About the Role
We are hiring a Business Development Executive (BDE) for our Thanjavur office. If you have experience in B2B sales, inside sales, lead generation, or e-commerce sales and want to build a career in the fast-growing e-commerce services industry, this role is for you. You will identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, references, and field visits
- Identify and connect with D2C brands, manufacturers, and online sellers looking to grow on marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart
- Pitch Seller Rocket's services: Marketplace Management, Social Media Marketing, SEO, and Software Development
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements, pain points, and growth goals
- Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and service presentations
- Follow up consistently and maintain a healthy sales pipeline in the CRM
- Coordinate with the operations team for smooth client onboarding after closure
- Achieve monthly lead generation and revenue targets
- Represent Seller Rocket at trade events, expos, and networking forums when required
- Maintain accurate daily reports of calls, meetings, and conversions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or any related field
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, agency sales, inside sales, or e-commerce services sales (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)
- Strong communication skills in Tamil and English; Hindi is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho
- Confidence in cold calling and client-facing conversations
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and LinkedIn
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates from Thanjavur, Trichy, Kumbakonam, or nearby districts preferred
