Job description Position : Site Head (Manufacturing unit)
Plants: Steel Plant & Resin Plant
Location: Bhilwara (Rajasthan)
Experience: B.E. / B. Tech with 10 - 12 years of experience in industrial goods / mining / manufacturing plants
Key Deliverables: Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Managing a large team of Supervisors & Operators on the shop floor & Communicating and Engaging with Site Leadership Team
- Manage operations budget to ensure cost efficiency and product quality
- Optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency
- Ensure timely maintenance to minimize downtime
- Implement and enforce plant safety policies
- Oversee production, raw materials, and process documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
- Apply process control and continuous improvement techniques
- Develop and implement SOPs and process controls
- Supervise maintenance of plant machinery
- Hire, train, and manage operations staff
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely material flow
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage
- Assign tasks and evaluate employee performance
- Improve processes by reducing waste and constraints
- Plan and execute long-term operational strategies
- Prepare regular reports on plant performance
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to clients
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working in plant operations required
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
- Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and computer technology
- Familiar with operating plant equipment safety and efficiency
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Able to sit, stand and walk around for long periods at a time.
