Nithya Amirtham is a growing chain of traditional South Indian vegetarian restaurants focused on delivering authentic taste, quality, and customer satisfaction. As we expand our presence across Chennai, Tiruvallur, and Kanchipuram, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer with expertise in interior fit-outs to join our team and help shape aesthetically pleasing, functional, and efficient restaurant spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage restaurant interior fit-out projects from concept to completion.
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities including civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, false ceiling, painting and signage work.
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and within the project timeline.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor site progress and provide daily/weekly reports to management.
- Handle on-site problem-solving, issue resolution and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and proper inventory tracking.
- Conduct quality checks and snagging before handover.
- Travel across multiple restaurant sites as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, interior finishes, services (MEP) and vendor coordination.
- Experience with restaurant or retail projects is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and project tracking tools.

Work Environment:
- Must be comfortable working on-site across various locations.
- Flexible with travel and extended hours when required to meet deadlines.
- Passion for traditional vegetarian restaurant concepts is an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
