Role & responsibilities :
- Conduct regular quality inspections for corporate, commercial and retail interior fit-out projects.
- Ensure interior works are executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor quality of carpentry, partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, modular works and other interior finishes.
- Coordinate quality requirements relating to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting and other MEP worksassociated with interior projects.
- Identify workmanship or material deviations and coordinate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors for timely rectification.
- Prepare detailed BOQs and quantity take-offs from architectural, interior and MEP drawings.
- Prepare project estimates, rate analysis, costing and client quotations independently.
- Evaluate material, labour and subcontractor costs while preparing project quotations.
- Obtain vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative cost statements.
- Review drawings, specifications and scope of work to ensure all project requirements are captured during estimation.
- Verify executed quantities against approved BOQs and monitor variations during project execution.
- Prepare variation BOQs and quotations for additional works/change requests.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, vendors and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Recommend value-engineering and cost-optimisation solutions without compromising design intent or quality.
- Carry out snag inspections and ensure quality closure before client handover.
- Maintain required quality, BOQ, estimation and costing documentation.
