About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for improving organic visibility, search rankings, website traffic, and lead generation for our company and clients.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Kerala.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies for websites and client projects.
- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis.
- Perform competitor analysis and identify ranking opportunities.
- Handle on-page SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image optimization, and internal linking.
- Perform technical SEO audits and identify issues related to indexing, crawling, redirects, broken links, site structure, and page speed.
- Plan and execute off-page SEO and link-building strategies.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, blogs, FAQs, and service pages.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, and conversions.
- Work with content writers and web developers to implement SEO recommendations.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles and local SEO where required.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms.
- Prepare regular SEO reports and communicate campaign performance.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, AI search, and emerging SEO practices.
- Manage SEO activities across multiple websites and client accounts.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Good knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Understanding of Google Business Profile and Local SEO is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
- Experience handling multiple client websites.
- Knowledge of WordPress and SEO plugins such as Rank Math or Yoast.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted SEO and content optimization.
- Candidates with a proven portfolio or measurable SEO results will be preferred.
