Position: Solar Tendering & Liaison Engineer/Manager
Location: Mumbai (with travel across India)
Department: Renewable Energy
Reporting To: Business Head – Solar
Role Summary
The role is responsible for managing end-to-end solar tendering activities and driving
regulatory liaison with government authorities, DISCOMs, and key stakeholders.
The position plays a critical role in securing new projects and expanding the company’s
renewable energy portfolio.
Tendering & Bid Management
Identify and evaluate solar tenders from SECI, NTPC, MSEDCL, NHPC, and other agencies
Analyze RfS/RFP documents, PPA terms, and bid structures
Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids
Develop tariff strategies and cost estimates
Ensure compliance with qualification criteria
Liaison & Approvals
Liaise with DISCOMs, MNRE, and state authorities
Facilitate approvals for land, grid, CEIG and statutory clearances
Documentation & Compliance
Manage EMDs, Bank Guarantees, and documentation
Handle pre-bid queries and submissions
Post-Award Coordination
Support LOA, PPA execution and financial closure
Qualifications & Experience
B.E./B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Energy)
MBA preferred
3-5 years in solar EPC / IPP
Experience in tendering and liaison
Key Skills
Techno-commercial understanding
Financial modeling (tariff, IRR)
Liaisoning and negotiation

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
