Job Purpose
To plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons in accordance with CBSE guidelines, fostering communication, critical thinking, creativity, and a love for reading among students.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare yearly plans, unit plans, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Develop students' communication and presentation skills.
- Encourage critical thinking through discussions, debates, projects, and literary analysis.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
Assessment and Evaluation
- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, projects, and classwork.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and student portfolios.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Analyze student performance data and implement improvement strategies.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, inclusive, and learner-centered classroom environment.
- Maintain discipline and promote respectful classroom behavior.
- Ensure effective classroom organization and student engagement.
Student Development
- Support students in developing confidence in written and spoken English.
- Identify and assist students requiring additional academic support.
- Encourage participation in literary activities, competitions, assemblies, and school events.
Parent Communication
- Communicate student progress regularly with parents.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Address parent concerns professionally and constructively.
School Responsibilities
- Participate in school events, examinations, clubs, and co-curricular activities.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programs, and training sessions.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and school improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records as required by the school and CBSE guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Master's Degree in English (Preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience in handling middle school and secondary classes preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
