We are seeking an innovative and student-centric Faculty Member in Digital Marketing to join our business department.
You will bridge the gap between marketing theory and industry practice, preparing undergraduate and postgraduate students for modern marketing careers.
The ideal candidate combines strong academic credentials with practical, hands-on industry experience to deliver an engaging, data-driven curriculum.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Pedagogy
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures on core digital marketing subjects (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Analytics).
- Integrate practical, live-project assignments into the coursework, such as running mock budget campaigns or auditing real business websites.
2. Curriculum & Course Design
- Design, review, and update the digital marketing syllabus annually to ensure alignment with fast-moving industry shifts and platform algorithm updates.
- Develop digital learning assets, case studies, and lab-based exercises utilizing modern industry tools.
3. Academic Research & Industry Liaison
- Conduct impactful research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present at marketing conferences (required for tenure-track paths).
- Build institutional partnerships with local businesses and agencies to secure student capstone projects and placement pipelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Pedagogical Skills: Mastery of case-study teaching methods, experiential learning models, and modern Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas or Blackboard.
- Industry Tools: Practical proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, SEO tools (Semrush/Ahrefs), and email automation.
- Mentorship: Strong empathetic listening and guidance skills to support diverse student populations and career ambitions.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, MBA, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience in higher education, combined with verifiable corporate or agency marketing experience.
- Certifications: Current industry certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot Academy, Meta Blueprint) are considered a significant advantage.
