Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver Telugu lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Telugu.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, activity-based learning, and digital tools to enhance classroom engagement.
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
2. Classroom Management
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage active participation and collaborative learning.
- Ensure student safety and well-being during school hours.
3. Student Assessment
- Conduct periodic assessments, class tests, and evaluations.
- Monitor and record student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and remedial support to students requiring additional assistance.
4. Parent Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and behavioral development.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide necessary guidance to parents.
5. Co-Curricular Activities
- Organize and participate in literary activities, storytelling sessions, language competitions, cultural programs, and school events.
- Promote appreciation of Telugu literature, culture, and traditions among students.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain attendance records, assessment reports, lesson plans, and student portfolios.
- Complete all academic documentation and reports within stipulated timelines.
- Assist in school accreditation and compliance-related activities as required.
7. Professional Development
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and faculty development initiatives.
- Continuously update teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree with Telugu as a subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred as per applicable norms.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Experience in teaching Telugu at the primary level will be preferred.
