Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Video Editor who can create engaging video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, and branding projects. The ideal candidate should have a creative mindset, basic editing skills, and a willingness to learn the latest video editing techniques and AI-powered creative tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate content.
- Trim, arrange, and enhance raw footage with transitions, effects, captions, and background music.
- Create engaging content optimized for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Assist senior editors in video production and post-production activities.
- Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and digital marketing teams.
- Organize and maintain project files and video assets.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media content formats, and AI-powered editing tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film Editing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0–1 year of experience in video editing (Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Familiarity with CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of video formats, frame rates, audio synchronization, and storytelling.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio or sample video projects is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of AI-powered video editing tools such as Runway, Pika, Kling AI, Veo, or similar platforms.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Understanding of social media trends and short-form video content.
- Interest in photography or videography.
