Job Summary
The NOC Engineer cum Commissioning Officer will be responsible for monitoring network operations, coordinating with field teams, commissioning and configuring devices/equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring successful deployment and operation of project infrastructure. The role requires close coordination with site engineers, clients, and project teams to maintain system uptime and project quality.
Key Responsibilities NOC Operations
- Monitor network and system performance through NOC tools and dashboards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network or device-related issues.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and service outages in a timely manner.
- Escalate critical issues to the concerned teams and track resolution.
- Maintain incident logs, reports, and operational records.
- Ensure maximum uptime and adherence to service-level requirements.
Commissioning Activities
- Perform commissioning and configuration of field devices and equipment.
- Verify installation quality and ensure readiness for commissioning.
- Conduct functional testing, connectivity testing, and system validation.
- Coordinate with site engineers and technicians during deployment.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and handover documents.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support during project execution.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and clients for issue resolution.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates.
- Maintain technical documentation and asset records.
- Support tower, solar, IoT, networking, and infrastructure-related commissioning activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in NOC operations, commissioning, or technical support.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
- Understanding of commissioning procedures and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with solar EPC, telecom, IoT, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with remote monitoring systems, SCADA, or IoT platforms.
- Knowledge of solar plant commissioning and O&M activities.
- Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools.
Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Additional Requirements & Benefits
- Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and performance).
- Performance Incentive: Additional incentives will be provided based on project completion, commissioning targets, and overall performance.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license, as site visits and field coordination will be required.
