Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Student Counselor with at least 1 year of experience in student counseling, academic advising, or educational consulting. The ideal candidate will guide prospective and existing students through their educational journey, provide course and career counseling, and support admissions and enrollment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, programs, admissions requirements, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle student inquiries through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Follow up with leads and maintain strong relationships to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Conduct counseling sessions, webinars, seminars, and educational events when required.
- Achieve enrollment and counseling targets as assigned.
- Stay updated on educational programs, industry trends, and admission policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in student counseling, educational consulting, admissions, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of higher education programs and admission processes.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student inquiries efficiently.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and local language(s) is an advantage.
