Role Overview: Lead and manage the solvent extraction section of the plant, responsible for extracting residual oil from de-oiled cake using solvent (hexane)-based process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise plant operators and ensure smooth round-the-clock extraction operations
- Enforce strict fire and explosion safety protocols (hexane is highly flammable)
- Monitor extraction efficiency, solvent recovery, and process parameters
- Ensure statutory/regulatory compliance for solvent handling and storage
- Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment upkeep
- Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a solvent extraction plant (edible oil/oilseed industry preferred); strong knowledge of solvent safety norms; proven team supervision ability.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
