We are Hiring Sales Team Leader
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Team Leader (STL) to lead our sales and business development activities. The BDM will be responsible for increasing student admissions, achieving revenue targets, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with educational institutions, corporate clients, and training partners.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in education sales, institutional sales, marketing, or business development, along with strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the sales and student counseling team to improve admissions and conversions.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Corporate clients
- Colleges and educational institutions
- Training institutes and partners
- Government departments and officials
- Other relevant business partners
- Generate new leads through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, events, seminars, workshops, networking, and direct outreach.
- Conduct sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, seminars, and client meetings.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute effective lead-generation campaigns.
- Track and monitor key sales performance indicators such as:
- Leads generated
- Admissions
- Conversion rates
- Revenue
- Team productivity
- Analyze sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients and partners and successfully close business deals.
- Maintain excellent relationships with students, parents, clients, and business partners throughout the admission process.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis and suggest strategies to improve the organization’s market position.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams to ensure smooth student admissions and onboarding.
- Identify opportunities to expand the organization’s presence in new markets and locations.
- Represent the organization at seminars, workshops, project presentations, conferences, and business meetings.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with government officials and institutional representatives when required.
- Travel regularly for client meetings, seminars, workshops, institutional visits, branch visits, and other business development activities.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in educational sales, institutional sales, marketing, business development, EdTech, training, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Strong experience in team management, sales, counseling, and business development.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Good communication skills in English and the local language.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and convert them into revenue.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently for meetings, institutional visits, seminars, workshops, and other business activities.
- Experience in working with colleges, educational institutions, corporate clients, or government organizations will be an advantage.
- A valid 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler driving license and own vehicle will be an added advantage.
