Job Title: Billing & Planning Engineer
Qualification:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in construction / infrastructure projects
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Billing & Cost Control:
- Prepare and verify RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills as per BOQ and contract conditions.
- Measurement of executed work at site and reconciliation with drawings and specifications.
- Maintain billing records, abstracts, and certified measurement books (MB).
- Coordinate with accounts and clients for bill submission, certification, and payment follow-up.
- Monitor project costs, variations, extra items, and claims.
Planning & Scheduling:
- Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project / Primavera.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and update plans periodically.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify delays, analyze reasons, and suggest corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure work is executed as per schedule.
Coordination & Documentation:
- Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and estimates when required.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, specifications, and project milestones.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and client reviews.
MIS & Reporting:
- Prepare MIS reports related to billing, planning, productivity, and cash flow.
- Support management with project status updates and forecasts.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of billing, BOQ, measurements, and contract management
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project / Primavera
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills
