Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Supervisor License preferred
Job Summary:
The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for supervising electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities related to kiln refractory projects. The role requires ensuring smooth functioning of electrical systems, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safety compliance during shutdown and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems in kiln areas.
- Ensure proper functioning of motors, panels, cables, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
- Provide electrical support during kiln shutdown and refractory maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Supervise electricians, technicians, and contractors at site.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and progress reports.
- Monitor power consumption and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Maintain records of electrical spare parts and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth kiln functioning.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdown situations.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance in kiln/industrial environments
- Hands-on experience with PLC, VFD, motors, and control panels
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Team supervision and coordination
- Good knowledge of safety standards and compliance
