Job Description – Safety Engineer (Construction)
Position: Safety Engineer
Department: Safety / EHS
Responsibilities:
- Ensure site safety rules, regulations, and company policies are followed.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
- Prepare and implement safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers.
- Monitor PPE usage and ensure compliance.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports.
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers and workers to improve safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements.
- Promote a safe working environment at the project site.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering or related field.
- Minimum experience in construction site safety.
- Knowledge of safety standards, PPE, and risk management.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle site safety activities independently.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
