Network & Firewall Management
- Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks across the office and plant premises.
- Support firewall setup, rule management, and monitoring to ensure secure network access.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in managing routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
- Maintain network documentation including topology maps, IP address allocations, and configuration records.
Hardware Installation & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Perform routine hardware health checks and preventive maintenance across all IT assets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware faults, coordinating with vendors for repairs or replacements when required.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset register for all hardware and software.
- Set up workstations for new employees including OS installation, software deployment, and user account creation.
Data Protection & IT Security
- Implement and monitor data backup procedures to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Support the enforcement of IT security policies including antivirus management, patch updates, and access control.
- Assist in managing user permissions, passwords, and access rights across systems and applications.
- Identify and escalate potential security vulnerabilities or breaches to senior IT staff.
- Ensure compliance with data protection guidelines and internal IT security policies.
Vendor Management & Procurement Support
- Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs, and service providers for timely resolution of issues and service delivery.
- Assist in evaluating vendor proposals and obtaining quotations for IT hardware, software, and services.
- Track AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service agreements with IT vendors.
- Liaise with procurement for timely purchase of IT consumables and equipment.
- Maintain vendor contact database and escalation matrix for all IT service providers.
General IT Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT helpdesk queries from staff across departments.
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets within defined SLA timelines.
- Support installation and configuration of business software applications and ERP modules.
- Assist in email account setup and administration (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace).
- Prepare IT-related reports and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
