Job Description
SKLI Hotels Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated South Indian Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality South Indian breakfast items while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and consistency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely preparation and service of breakfast items.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of ingredient requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and service teams for smooth operations.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in South Indian breakfast preparation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preparing traditional South Indian breakfast dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Training in Catering, Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
