Job Title: EVS Teacher
Location: Aga Khan School, Mundra, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Environmental Studies (EVS) lessons aligned with the NCRT curriculum for primary grades.
- Foster curiosity and awareness about the environment through activity-based and experiential learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessments.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into classroom instruction.
- Encourage critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school activities, and attend parent-teacher meetings.
- Support the holistic development and well-being of students.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in english Medium school (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and child-centered teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
