Experience Required:
7 TO 20+ Years of Experience in PCB Assembly (PCBA), SMT Processes, Through-Hole Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering, and Process Optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, validation, and optimization of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing processes.
- Establish process parameters for solder paste printing, component placement, reflow/wave/selective soldering, and final assembly.
- Optimize stencil design, solder paste selection, placement accuracy, and reflow profiles to reduce defects like tombstoning and voiding.
- Lead process readiness for New Product Introductions (NPI) and conduct Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
- Support inspection systems and reliability testing including thermal cycling, vibration, and environmental lifecycle testing.
Required Technical Skills:
- Solder Paste Printing, SMT, THT, Reflow/Wave/Selective Soldering, Box Build, and Conformal Coating.
- Automated Inspection systems including AOI, SPI, AXI, ICT, Flying Probe, and Functional Testing (FCT).
- Process Engineering disciplines like SPC, Process Validation, RCA, Failure Analysis, DOE, PFMEA, Cp/Cpk, and Control Plans.
- Standards compliance with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721, AS9100, ISO 9001, and RoHS/REACH.
