Define, document, and optimize manufacturing of automotive structural components like chassis, suspension etc across processes like roll forming, punching, stamping, casting, forging, and machining operations.
Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Evaluate and qualify new suppliers for critical manufacturing processes (roll forming, punching, stamping, /casting / forging / heat treatment / surface treatment etc).
Own and drive manufacturing engineering projects from initiation to closure using structured project management methodologies (APQP / Agile).
Support resolution of customer complaints (8D, CAPA) with root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
Apply metallurgical knowledge to select appropriate materials for automotive structural components based on strength, weight, and cost requirements.
Analyze material test reports, heat treatment records, and failure analysis data to resolve quality concerns
Collaborate with the Procurement team on supplier selection, cost benchmarking, and make-vs-buy decisions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Technology, Quality, Production, Commercial and logistics for on-time project delivery
Coordinate / Support prototype builds.
Maintain project documentation, lessons-learned databases, and best-practice repositories.
Promote Metalsa Technology in Industry forums and trade associations.
