Job Overview;
AgroEnergy Ventures is seeking a skilled Operator & Maintenance Technician to manage the day-to-day operations and upkeep of biomass pellet machines. The role involves ensuring efficient machine performance, minimizing downtime, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize productivity and equipment life.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate biomass pellet machines and ensure smooth and efficient functioning
· Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal output
· Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent breakdowns
· Perform repair work including welding, cutting, and drilling as required
· Handle and maintain mechanical components such as gears, bearings, and motors
· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
· Maintain records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and repairs
Skills & Competencies
· Experience in operating industrial machinery (biomass pellet experience preferred)
· Hands-on skills in welding, cutting, and drilling
· Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including gears and bearings
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/manuals
· Good problem-solving skills with a proactive maintenance approach
· Awareness of workplace safety practices
Working Conditions
· Factory-based role involving dust, heat, and typical industrial environment
· Willingness to work in rotational shifts
· Physically fit to handle machinery and occasional heavy components
Pay: ₹8,544.08 - ₹20,000.00 per month
