Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fashion Merchandiser to oversee the end-to-end production process for women's ethnic wear and fashion garments. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between design, production, vendors, and karigars to ensure timely execution of orders while maintaining quality, costing, and delivery timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Manage and monitor the complete production cycle from sampling to final dispatch.
- Coordinate with production teams, vendors, and karigars to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Track daily production status and resolve bottlenecks to meet delivery commitments.
Job Card Preparation
- Create and maintain detailed production job cards for each style/order.
- Ensure accurate recording of design specifications, fabric requirements, trims, embroidery details, and production instructions.
Production TNA (Time & Action Calendar)
- Develop and maintain Production TNA for all ongoing orders.
- Monitor critical milestones and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Escalate delays and implement corrective actions when required.
Karigar & Vendor Management
- Coordinate and negotiate with karigars, embroidery units, dyeing units, and other job workers.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure smooth workflow.
Tech Pack Development
- Prepare detailed Tech Packs including measurements, construction details, embroidery placements, trims, stitching specifications, and finishing requirements.
- Ensure clear communication of design and production requirements to factories and vendors.
Costing & Cost Sheet Preparation
- Prepare and update garment cost sheets.
- Calculate fabric consumption, trims, embroidery, stitching, finishing, packaging, and overhead costs.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to achieve target margins.
Quality & Coordination
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production departments for smooth execution.
- Monitor sample approvals and production quality.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Fashion Merchandising or Apparel Production.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and ethnic wear production.
- Experience in Tech Pack creation, garment costing, and production planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production tracking tools.

Pay: ₹11,986.74 - ₹25,000.00 per month
