About the Role
We are looking for a Shift Supervisor with hands-on experience in Polymer Compounding, Masterbatch Manufacturing, PVC Compounds, Engineering Plastics, or related polymer processing industries. The candidate will be responsible for managing production activities during shifts, ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities during assigned shifts.
- Monitor polymer compounding, extrusion, mixing, and masterbatch manufacturing processes.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning.
- Manage operators, helpers, and machine technicians during shifts.
- Monitor machine performance, productivity, and downtime.
- Ensure proper usage of raw materials, additives, fillers, pigments, and masterbatch formulations.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams.
- Maintain production reports, shift logs, and process records.
- Implement 5S, safety practices, and SOP compliance.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure product quality as per customer and company standards.
Required Skills
- Experience in Polymer Compounding / Masterbatch Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of twin-screw extruders, mixers, feeders, and compounding equipment.
- Understanding of polymer processing parameters and production controls.
- Exposure to PVC compounds, engineering plastics, color masterbatch, filler masterbatch, or additive masterbatch.
- Knowledge of quality systems, process monitoring, and production documentation.
- Basic understanding of OEE, rejection analysis, and process optimization.

Candidates must have experience from one or more of the following industries:

- Polymer Manufacturing Plants
- Additive/Filler/Color Masterbatch Industry
Preferred Profiles
- Diploma in Plastics Technology (CIPET)
- B.Tech Polymer Engineering
- B.Tech Petrochemical Engineering
- Polymer Chemistry graduates with production experience
- Candidates from polymer compounding or masterbatch production environments
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
