We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance and accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring effective control of debtor and creditor ageing and timely follow-up.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow statements, fund flow reports, working capital requirements, and liquidity positions.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze branch-wise profitability, expenses, margins, and overall business performance, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments for financial and compliance requirements.
- Support management in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and business performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to accounting and financial reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in accounting, finance, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports, profitability analysis, and cash flow management.
- Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful business insights.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, distribution, trading, or multi-branch organizations.
- Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, working capital management, and banking operations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
