Junior Architect

Astanzi is a cultural strategy, curation, and scenography practice working at the intersection of art, design, culture, and public experience. We develop exhibitions, cultural programmes, spatial narratives, installations, and scenographic environments for institutions, brands, artists, and cultural organisations.
We are looking for a Junior Architect who is highly proficient in SketchUp and AutoCAD, has strong spatial thinking skills, and is excited by the challenge of translating concepts into immersive cultural experiences.
What You'll Do
- Develop architectural and scenographic drawings for exhibitions, installations, and spatial experiences.
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawing packages and technical documentation.
- Create high-quality SketchUp models for design development and client presentations.
- Assist in the design and execution of exhibitions, museums, cultural events, and temporary installations.
- Support research, material exploration, and construction detailing.
- Coordinate with fabricators, vendors, artists, and project partners.
- Participate in site visits, installations, and project execution.
- Contribute to design presentations, visualisations, and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and construction details.
- Good understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and spatial design.
- Strong graphic communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with exhibition design, scenography, installations, retail, hospitality, or cultural projects.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or Twinmotion.
- Interest in contemporary art, museums, culture, heritage, and public experiences.
