Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Booking and Event Sales Specialist to join our artist management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from identifying live performance opportunities to closing high-value booking deals for our roster of talent. You will leverage your existing network and actively build new relationships with festival bookers, corporate event organizers, wedding planners, promoters, and venue managers to maximize venue placement and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and prospect high-potential performance opportunities, corporate galas, private events, and festival slots for our artist roster.
- Deal Closure: Pitch talent directly to talent buyers, negotiate performance fees, rider requirements, and contract terms, and successfully close booking deals.
- Industry Networking: Actively network and build lasting relationships with event promoters, wedding planners, venue managers, festival directors, and talent buyers.
- Roster Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of our artists' unique brands and successfully position them to match the creative needs of diverse event clients.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate tracking of outreach, active negotiations, and finalized bookings using our internal tracking tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in artist booking, live entertainment sales, or entertainment talent management.
- Industry Network: An active, existing network of event industry professionals, promoters, or talent buyers is highly preferred.
- Sales & Negotiation Track Record: Demonstrated success in pitch presentation, fee negotiation, and contract closure within the entertainment or event sectors.
- Communication: Exceptional persuasion, relationship-building, and written communication skills.
- Industry Savvy: A strong understanding of current music/entertainment trends, event production timelines, and standard performance contracts.
