Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Automobile Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge of automobile systems and a willingness to learn while delivering quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues.
- Inspect vehicles and identify faults using diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components.
- Conduct oil changes, brake servicing, suspension checks, and wheel alignment (if applicable).
- Carry out vehicle inspections before and after repairs.
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain job cards, service records, and repair documentation.
- Keep the workshop clean and follow safety standards.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and senior technicians to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of automobile systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems).
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Understanding of vehicle servicing procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
Qualification
- ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle) / ITI Diesel Mechanic.
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in authorized dealerships or multi-brand workshops.
- Knowledge of petrol, diesel, EV, and BS6 vehicles is an added advantage.
- Experience with brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Honda, Kia, MG, BYD, Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault, Nissan, or other OEMs.
