About the Role
Flying Squirrel Holidays is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
HR & Admin Specialist to build and manage a robust people and administrative function. This role is critical in shaping our organizational culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring ∙
Lead end-to-end recruitment to hire top talent across functions. ∙Develop hiring strategies, job descriptions, and sourcing channels. ∙Coordinate interviews, assessments, and offer rollouts. ∙Build a strong employer brand to attract high-quality candidates. Onboarding & Employee Experience ∙
Design and manage a structured onboarding process for new hires. ∙Ensure seamless integration of employees into the organization. ∙Create a positive employee experience aligned with company values.
Employee Lifecycle Management ∙
Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from hiring to exit. ∙Maintain employee records, documentation, and HRIS systems. ∙Ensure smooth transitions across roles, promotions, and internal movements.
Performance Management & KPIs ∙
Define and implement KPI frameworks across teams. ∙Manage and streamline the appraisal process. ∙Work closely with leadership to track performance and growth plans. Employee Engagement & Culture ∙Plan and execute team building activities and engagement initiatives. ∙Drive a positive, high-performance, and collaborative work culture. ∙Act as a cultural ambassador of the organization.
Employee Grievance Management
∙Address and resolve employee grievances in a timely and professional manner. ∙Build trust through transparent communication and fair practices. ∙Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
7. Compensation & Payroll ∙
Manage salary processing and payroll coordination. ∙Ensure accuracy in compensation, reimbursements, and benefits. ∙Maintain confidentiality and compliance with payroll regulations.
Exit Process Management ∙
Handle complete exit formalities, including documentation and clearance. ∙Conduct exit interviews and derive actionable insights. ∙Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handovers.
9. HR Policies & Compliance ∙
Formulate, update, and implement HR policies and procedures. ∙Ensure adherence to statutory compliances (labour laws, ESIC, etc.). ∙Keep the organization compliant with all regulatory requirements.
10. Office Administration ∙
Oversee office administration, including maintenance and upkeep. ∙Manage IT infrastructure, vendor coordination, and office supplies. ∙Ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning workplace environment.
Key Requirements ∙
3–6 years of experience in HR & Administration. ∙Strong understanding of HR processes, labour laws, and compliance. ∙Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. ∙Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. ∙Prior experience in travel, hospitality, or startup ecosystem is a plus.
