About Us
We are a used vehicle finance company based in Nagpur/Gondia (Maharashtra), currently disbursing loans through a co-lending partnership. We are building our entire tech infrastructure from scratch — a custom Loan Origination System (LOS), Loan Management System (LMS), dealer dashboards, credit decision engine, and AI-powered automation.
This is not a "maintain existing code" role. You will build from zero.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, hungry tech generalist who can own the entire technology function — from writing the first line of code to deploying it live. You'll be the first tech hire and will work directly with the founder.
This is a 3-month paid internship.
After conversion, you'll lead all tech initiatives as the company scales.
What You'll Actually Do
Month 1:
- Build a credit decision engine (rule-based + ML scoring model) for used vehicle loan applications
- Set up the basic backend infrastructure (APIs, database, authentication)
- Understand the lending business deeply — sit with the operations team, understand how loans move from application to disbursal
Month 2:
- Build a dealer-facing dashboard — dealers should be able to submit loan applications, track status, and see their portfolio
- Integrate AI/LLM for automating document parsing, data extraction from bank statements, and risk assessment summaries
- Deploy everything on cloud (AWS/GCP/VPS) with proper CI/CD
Month 3:
- Build internal dashboards for MIS reporting, collections tracking, and portfolio analytics
- Optimize the credit model using real disbursement data
- Harden security, set up monitoring, and prepare for scale
What We're Looking For Must Have
- Strong in Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) — you'll build the backend
- Working knowledge of one frontend framework (React, Next.js, or Vue)
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning — not just theory, you should have trained and deployed at least one model
- Experience using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) — prompt engineering, structured output, function calling
- Has deployed at least one project to a live server (Vercel, Railway, AWS, DigitalOcean — anything counts)
- Comfortable with Git, Linux basics, and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Can google, debug, and figure things out independently
Good to Have
- Experience with data pipelines (extracting data from PDFs, Excel, bank statements)
- Knowledge of Docker and basic DevOps
- Familiarity with fintech / lending / NBFC domain
- Has built APIs that other people actually used
- Open source contributions or a strong GitHub profile

- You're comfortable with ambiguity — we won't always have a perfect spec, you'll help shape it

- You're genuinely curious about AI/ML and keep up with what's new
- You can explain tech to non-tech people without jargon
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹22,500.00 per month
