Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and confident Admission Counsellor to join our team in Panvel. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, handling enquiries, guiding students and parents through the admission process, and achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents regarding available courses and career opportunities.
Handle walk-in enquiries, phone calls, online leads, and admission queries.
Explain course details, eligibility, fees, benefits, and admission procedures.
Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and confirmed admissions.
Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth admissions.
Conduct counselling sessions and presentations when required.
Handle student/parent concerns professionally and provide suitable solutions.
Prepare regular reports on enquiries, conversions, and admissions.
Guide and support junior counsellors when required.
Requirements
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
7+ years of experience in admission counselling, education sales, student counselling, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong convincing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of admission and counselling processes.
Strong leadership and team-handling abilities.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems.
Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
