Location: Initial deputation at customer site in Chennai (2–3 months), followed by project execution from Inoptra office, Bangalore

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers with strong expertise in SolidWorks 3D modeling and detailing for Boiler Equipment and Pressure Parts Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing documentation for boiler pressure parts and associated systems in compliance with industry standards and codes.

Develop detailed 3D models using SolidWorks for boiler pressure parts and related equipment.

Create 2D manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings from 3D models.

Model boiler pressure components including:
-
Drums
-
Headers
-
Waterwall Panels
-
Superheaters
-
Reheaters
-
Economizers
-
Piping Spools
-
Design and detail non-pressure parts such as:
-
Buckstays
-
Support Structures
-
Boiler Casing
-
Ducting Systems
-
Refractory Layouts
-
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for high-pressure components, piping systems, and structural elements.

Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with accurate material specifications, weights, and quantities.

Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure design accuracy and project delivery.

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and customer requirements.

6–12 years of experience in Boiler Equipment Engineering and Pressure Parts Design/Detailing.

Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks 3D Modeling and Detailing.

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD for production and fabrication drawings.

Experience in preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings for boiler and pressure part components.

Strong understanding of boiler systems, pressure parts, piping layouts, and supporting structures.

Ability to interpret engineering specifications, design standards, and customer requirements.

Good communication and coordination skills.
Candidates with working knowledge of the following standards will be preferred:
