About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong command of industrial costing, direct/indirect taxation (GST), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational costs, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving financial accuracy across our manufacturing/service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Accounting & Management
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cost accounting systems tailored to our operations.
- Perform detailed variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead) between actual and standard costs, highlighting key cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct product-wise and process-wise profitability analyses to aid management in strategic pricing and operational decisions.
- Oversee inventory valuation, physical stock verification audits, and scrap management controls.
- Prepare periodic cost sheets, management information system (MIS) reports, and cost-benefit analyses for capital expenditures.
GST (Goods and Services Tax) Compliance
- Ensure end-to-end compliance with GST regulations, including timely computation, filing of monthly/annual returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C), and reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC).
- Manage GST audits, department assessments, and coordinate with external consultants for litigation and advisory matters.
- Monitor e-way bill generation and ensure seamless inter-state stock transfer compliances.
TDS & Direct Taxation
- Oversee accurate deduction, deposit, and timely filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Review vendor contracts and transactions to ensure correct withholding tax rates under the Income Tax Act.
- Support the finance team in corporate income tax computations, advance tax estimations, and handling tax audit requirements.
General Financial Operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist during internal, statutory, and cost audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Cost Accounting standards and variance analysis.
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of GST laws, return filings, and litigation management.
- Sound expertise in TDS provisions and corporate compliance.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with senior management.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
