An Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is a desk-based sales professional who drives revenue by phone, e-mail and CRM — prospecting enterprise accounts, uncovering requirements, preparing and sending quotations, and following up relentlessly to close orders. Unlike the field-based Geography Sales Manager (GSM), the ISM role does not involve daily field travel; the ISM works from the office and coordinates with field GSMs and the pre-sales teams to close larger deals. This is a high-activity, target-driven role built on a disciplined daily rhythm of sunrise and sunset calls, real-time CRM updates, and a weekly management sales review.
The role requires a working knowledge of the Yexis portfolio and the ability to sell these solutions to business customers (B2B, not retail consumers):
● IT infrastructure products: desktops, laptops and tablets.
● Mobility products: mobile phones and tablets.
● Samsung / LG business products: system air-conditioning, appliances, mobiles, tablets, televisions and computing products — sold to businesses and institutions rather than individual consumers.
● AV & collaboration solutions: desktop-to-video conferencing, digital collaboration, work-from-home (WFH) setups, dynamic communication technology, and virtual meeting / conferencing solutions across platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet and others.
● Integration & services: AV networking and data-centre networking system integration, and HVAC / central air-conditioning services.
Prior exposure to any of these categories is an advantage; the ability and willingness to learn the full portfolio quickly is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound Calling & Prospecting
● Make 40–50 outbound calls per day (minimum 25–30) to prospect new enterprise accounts and follow up on existing opportunities.
● Reach 18–20 decision-makers per day, understand their requirements, and identify 3–4 genuine needs each day.
● Log every call and interaction in the CRM in real time — “if it is not in CRM, it did not happen.”
Quotations & Pipeline
● Prepare and send 3–4 quotations per day, ideally within one hour of identifying a customer need.
● Maintain an active quotation pipeline of at least ₹1.5 crore at all times; a pipeline below ₹1 crore is treated as an early revenue warning.
● Follow up on every pending quotation within 48 hours — this is where revenue is won or silently lost.
Conversion & Closing
● Convert 3–5 orders per week (target 12–18 orders per month) at a healthy conversion rate.
● Coordinate with field GSMs and pre-sales for pricing, demos and larger enterprise deals; hand off or escalate where a field visit is required.
Discipline, CRM & Reporting
● Attend the daily Sunrise Call (9:00 AM) and Sunset Call (6:00 PM), and the weekly Monday Management Sales Review (MSR).
Report daily actuals — calls made, quotations sent, revenue booked — against plan, honestly and on time.
Experience: 2–15 years in inside sales, tele-sales or B2B sales (electronics, IT hardware, telecom or allied industries an advantage)
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
