Responsibilities
· Identify and source mechanical components like sheet metal/plastics/injection molding/press components and materials.
· Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
· Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor relationships.
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team.
· Prepare and manage purchase orders.
· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.
· Prepare regular reports on purchase activities and market conditions.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role within the mechanical or manufacturing industry.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Experience with ERP or procurement software.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
