Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the logistics, transportation,warehousing, and supply chain sectors.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging market trends, and business expansion opportunities.
Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, direct outreach, and strategic market engagement.
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth
objectives.
Client Relationship Management
Establish, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective
clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend customized logistics solutions that align with their operational needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and professional
communication.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive service.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Prepare and present business proposals, service presentations, quotations, and commercial agreements.
Conduct negotiations with clients and support contract finalization processes.
Consistently achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to maximize profitability and market penetration.
Coordination & Operational Support
Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients and coordinate service implementation.
Support the resolution of customer concerns by liaising with relevant internal departments.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities within CRM systems.
Prepare periodic sales reports, pipeline updates, forecasts, and market analysis reports for management review.
Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and customer feedback to support
strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships and generate revenue.
Strong negotiation and consultative selling capabilities.
High level of professionalism, commercial acumen, and customer orientation.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, business development activities, and industry
engagements as required.
